The first climb a day trip, the... read more second an overnight. Both allowed me to get my "Zen" on. As the universe seemed to be reminding me to get back to nature, I saw some posts from the company about hikes available withing driving distance of Jakarta. My spirit was yearning for adventure and this was the sign I needed.

Taufan did not disappoint. He was so quick to respond to my emails - even as he was preparing for his own hike. We worked out all of the details over a few days and I was able to enjoy some time in nature with my thoughts, my guide(s) and my heavy breathing.

From pre-adventure Covid tests, to the drive, the hike and the camping - safety was the priority. The adaptability of everyone involved will keep me returning for more adventures. Syem and Danu are terrific guides who take pleasure in meeting individual needs and are great company. I can't wait to do it again!
