This was... read more a thoroughly excellent adventure from start to finish, tremendous communication from Taufan, everything perfectly organized, including breaks in the clouds for spectacular views. Hot and humid weather, not unexpected in this part of the world, made Plan B the right decision.
Two nights of camping in beautiful campsites, mountain summit and then rain forest, well-prepared meals, great safe guiding with maximum care taken of two elderly trekkers. Nothing was too much trouble, including a road side stop for fresh coconut for an all-natural electrolyte replacement on the drive back!
We could not have asked for a better experience.
I highly recommend Taufan's crew and Climb Indonesia.
We will certainly use their services again.

Our guide is Mr Taufan, he managed the whole trip with Climb Indonesia crew diligently. For me, the most unforgettable experience during this trip is the Mount Sindoro hike. It was brilliantly organised by Climb Indonesia, almost feels like the hike was super easy and enjoyable because the crew made sure you have everything you need. We had an overnight stay at Sunrise Camp, with an amazing view of Mount Sumbing. The crew prepared for our breakfast, lunch and dinner and feels like we eat in a 5 star restaurant at a high altitude. The night was cold sleeping inside the tent but the crew already prepared the tent to let us sleep comfortably with sleeping bag, thermal mattress etc. Seriously the hike at Mount Sindoro is the highlight of my trip this time.

Then Mr Taufan took us for a sunrise view at Candi Borobudur, followed by a breakfast with a view of Candi Borobudur. You all need to join this visit at Candi Borobudur, it was worth the visit.

We then went to shop at Malioboro Market, buying batik, and lots of souvenirs at a reasonable price.

During the whole trip we stayed at Amata Borobudur Resort, you can read my review in Google about this resort. It's a 3-star resort with 5-star services. Worth the money!

The sound operations of Climb Indonesia gave me the confidence and I throughly enjoyed the trip despite the torrential rain. I was well looked after the whole trip despite the torrential rain. Food was good by mountain standards. I would definitely go with Climb Indonesia if I was going to climb another mountain in Indonesia.
