While Arjuno remains dormant, its twin Mt. Welirang (3,156 m) still breathes with life, an active volcano famous for its smoking crater and traditional sulphur miners who continue their age-old craft amid rising plumes of steam.
Depending on your physical fitness, the hike across these four volcanoes can be done in either a 2-day or 3-day program. Those with excellent fitness can take on the 2-day challenge, while those who prefer to enjoy the scenery and move at a more relaxed pace will find the 3-day adventure perfectly rewarding.
