Itinerary

Day 1Arrive in Medan, Kualanamu Airport – Bukit Lawang

  • Arrival at Kualanamu Airport, Medan.
  • Transfer to Bukit Lawang.
  • Check into your accommodation upon arrival.
  • Village tour of the surrounding area.
  • Overnight stay at a local homestay.

Day 2Bukit Lawang Jungle Trekking and Exploration

  • Breakfast at the homestay.
  • Start your jungle trek, hiking through the lush rainforest, with opportunities to spot wildlife, especially orangutans.
  • Packed lunch in the jungle, provided by your tour guide.
  • Continue trekking, visiting various spots known for orangutan sightings. Your guide will share information about the local flora and fauna.
  • Arrive at a jungle campsite.
  • Free time to relax, swim in the river, or explore the surroundings.
  • Dinner at the campsite.

 

Day 3Jungle Exploration and River Tubing

  • Wake up to the sounds of the jungle. Breakfast at the campsite.
  • Prepare for river tubing. Your guide will provide safety instructions and equipment.
  • Enjoy a relaxing and fun river tubing experience down the Bohorok River.
  • Return to your accommodation.
  • Lunch at the accommodation, clean up, change clothes, and prepare for departure to Tangkahan.
  • Jeep ride to Tangkahan.

Day 4Explore the Hidden Paradise of Tangkahan and Observe Sumatran Elephants

  • Explore the hidden paradise of Tangkahan: swim across the river, visit the natural hot spring, and observe the famous Sumatran elephants during their daily bath.

Day 5Transfer to Berastagi

  • Transfer to Berastagi.
  • Check into your accommodation upon arrival.
  • Enjoy a lovely afternoon in Berastagi.

Day 6 Explore Berastagi

  • Sunrise hike up Mount Sibayak.
  • Visit the hot springs and Lumbini Temple.
  • Explore the Berastagi fruit market.
  • Return to the homestay
  • Overnight stay at the homestay.

Day 7 Transfer to Lake Toba

  • Breakfast at the homestay.
  • Transfer to Lake Toba.
  • Stop by Sipiso-piso Waterfall.
  • Ferry ride to Samosir Island.
  • Check into your accommodation upon arrival.

Day 8 Samosir Panoramic Tour

  • Eary wake up at 2AM for Sunrise hike to Pusuk Buhit ( Optional) 
  • Stop by Hadabuan Nai Sogop Waterfall.
  • Lunch at Bukit Burung.
  • Return to your accommodation.

Day 9 Samosir Island - Batak cultural tour

  • Cultural trip exploring Samosir Island, including exploring the Kampung Ulos Raja

Day 10 Return to Medan
